News Center- 41 people were killed in different areas of Syria in the last 24 hours, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR), a Britain-based monitoring group, reported on Wednesday.

A militant from the Jaramana neighborhood in the Damascus countryside and six militants from Damascus’s Ashrafieh Sahnaya neighborhood while repelling an attack launched by government-backed forces, two pro-government fighters were killed in an attack on the Jaramana neighborhood in the Damascus countryside and 16 members of the General Security Forces were killed in an attack on Ashrafieh Sahnaya in the Damascus countryside, the monitoring group said.

According to the monitoring group, a young man was killed in armed family clashes that erupted in the city of Mare’ in the northern Aleppo countryside; a citizen died of wounds he sustained accidentally at a wedding in the village of Al-Awad in the eastern Raqqa countryside, within areas controlled by the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF); a 20-year-old man was killed by gunfire in the city of Manbij in the eastern Aleppo countryside, within areas controlled by the Syrian National Army, while cleaning his weapon; a citizen was killed after being shot three times by unknown gunmen while traveling on the Akrama-Al-Waer road in the Homs countryside; a retired pilot from the village of Umm al-Tin in the Homs countryside was killed by live ammunition after gunmen stormed his home in the Yarmouk Camp in Damascus and directly targeted him.

The dead body of an unidentified man was found in an irrigation canal near the Ta’minat housing complex by residents of the al-Nour neighborhood in Homs, the group said, adding that a citizen from the town of al-Bulil, in the eastern Deir ez-Zor countryside, was killed.

Six armed Druze men killed

Six armed Druze men were killed during an ambush targeting an armed convoy heading from Sweida to Sahnaya. “This attack was carried out by forces from the Ministries of Defense and Interior and allied groups,” SOHR said. “Armed groups allied with the Ministry of Defense executed citizens inside a poultry farm on the outskirts of the town of Sahnaya in the Damascus countryside. A citizen was killed by gunfire from members of the General Security detachment in the town of Yalda in the southern Damascus countryside. A sports coach was killed after being shot by gunmen in the village of Aysoun in the Homs countryside.”
