Sulaymaniyah- Some of the factors affecting human health are working life, living and nutritional conditions. In the hustle and bustle of everyday life, we often do not realize our body. Experts and doctors also say sports are important to have a healthy life and body. NuJINHA spoke to Zoya Muhammed, bodybuilding coach, about the effects of sports on our body and health.

‘Sports and exercise are a natural treatment for many diseases’

Zoya has been working in the field of sports and health for 34 years. “Sports are a vital need as important as bread and water. Not doing sports can lead to diseases. If you are afraid of stress, diabetes, heart and liver diseases, or if you have such complaints, you should definitely exercise at least three times a week. Sports and exercise are a natural treatment for many diseases,” she told us.

Effects of malnutrition

Drawing attention to the negative effects of malnutrition on the human body, Zoya Muhammed said, “Unfortunately, most of the foods we eat today are not natural, the negative effects of the white bread on the human body are known. Malnutrition affects body structure and organs. In our society, children aged between 15 and 16 suffer from many diseases. I can say that the main reason for this is inactivity and not doing sports. Most people suffer from many diseases due to the consumption of unhealthy food and living conditions.”

‘Walk at least 10-15 minutes a day’

Pointing out that people get used to comfort and laziness and they are unaware of the negative effects of this comfort on human health, Zoya Muhammed said, “People now prefer to use their cars even when they go shopping in very close places. People should walk at least 10-15 minutes a day. If they walk at least 10-15 minutes a day, it will reduce the risk of heart problems.”

‘Do simple exercises at work’

Zoya Muhammed also makes suggestions for those who spend eight and nine hours a day in front of a computer. “Such people mostly suffer from neck and muscle pain. They should do simple exercises every day. Sports and exercise must be a lifestyle for everyone.”
