Woman killed in al-Hol camp

Since the beginning of 2022, the number of people killed at al-Hol camp has climbed to eighteen.

News Center - Internal Security Forces discovered the body of a woman who was brutally murdered in al-Hol camp, 45 kilometers east of the center of al-Hasakah canton in northeastern Syria. The security forces say the killed woman is most likely of Iraqi origin.

According to media sources, a woman was killed at the al-Hol camp on Monday, May 30th, specifically in the passage separating the second and third Iraqi sectors.

According to the camp administrators, the victim's name has not been found yet, but she is most likely Iraqi as her body was found in the sector where refugees live. Since the beginning of this year, eight people, including women, have been killed and 13 others have been injured in the camp.
