According to the local reports, the killed children were aged four and two. Pakistan on Tuesday strongly condemned the Iranian airstrikes inside its borders, calling it an “unprovoked violation of its airspace” and warning of retaliation.

Iran’s state media reported that Iran had used precision missile and drone strikes to destroy two strongholds of the Sunni militant group Jaish al-Adl, known in Iran as Jaish al-Dhulm, in the Koh-e-Sabz area of Pakistan’s southwest Balochistan province.

According to Pakistan’s press outlets, Pakistan had summoned Tehran’s top diplomat in Islamabad over the incident. “This violation of Pakistan’s sovereignty is completely unacceptable and can have serious consequences,” Pakistan’s Foreign Ministry said in a statement.
