Riha - The sit-in protest started in front of the Urfa Courthouse by Emine Şenyaşar, whose husband and two sons were killed in the attack carried out on June 14, 2018, in Suruç by the relatives and bodyguards of AKP Urfa MP İbrahim Halil Yıldız, and her son Ferit Şenyaşar, who survived the attack, has continued on its 393rd day.

Today, Emine Şenyaşar stays at home in the district of Suruç due to her health problems, while her son Ferit Şenyaşar keeps demanding justice in front of the Urfa Courthouse.

“Judicial persecution in Urfa continues in the month of Ramadan since the law is in the hands of prosecutors buttoning up their robes in front of oppressors. Our struggle will continue until the mentality protecting the superiors changes,” the Şenyaşar family posted today on their social media account.
