Isreali airstrikes on southen Lebanon kill nine people.

Nine people, including five paramedics, were killed and dozens injured in Isreali airstrikes targeting various areas in southern Lebanon.

News Center — The extensive Israeli attacks on Lebanon come within the context of the war that the United States, in cooperation with Israel, is waging against Iran since February 28, which has left hundreds dead.

Lebanese media reports said on Saturday, March 28, that nine people, including five paramedics, were killed in Israeli airstrikes targeting the town of Zawtar al-Gharbiyeh in southern Lebanon. Another strike targeted the outskirts of Bint Jbeil, the town of Bayut al-Siyyad, and the towns of Qalila and Arnoun in southern Lebanon.

Israeli aircraft also launched a series of airstrikes at dawn today on the town of Majdal Selm in the Marjayoun district, accompanied by artillery shelling that targeted the town and its surroundings, in addition to the town of Qabrikha, while the town of Khiam was subjected to artillery shelling.

The Lebanese Ministry of Health had confirmed days earlier that 42 paramedics had been killed as a result of Israeli bombing since the beginning of the war on March 2.

The Lebanese Ministry of Health announced last evening that 26 people were killed and 86 others injured in Israeli attacks over the past hours, raising the death toll to 1,142 killed and 3,315 injured, including 122 children and 83 women, while the total number of injured reached 3,315, including 403 children and 456 women.
