“The solution to the crisis is possible with the recognition of the Autonomous Administration”

Evin Paşo, a member of the Kongreya Star Coordination in Hesekê city, stated that the Autonomous Administration is a project that can solve all the problems and crises in the Middle East, “If international powers want to resolve the Syrian crisis, they should support the Autonomous Administration and push the Damascus government to sit at the dialogue table.”

Hesekê – International systems deepen the crisis in the Middle East to be stronger. There are resolution mechanisms for all problems and everyone knows them but the hegemonic powers don’t want any solutions for these crises in order to protect their policies. The Revolution in Rojava and Northern and Eastern Syria are known as areas where people govern themselves according to the Democratic Nation project. This project is proposed as a model to solve problems not only in the region but also all around the world. We spoke to Evin Paşo, a member of the Kongreya Star Coordination in Hesekê city about the self-government model and why this model is important.

“The crisis in Syria and third world war”

Evin Paşo began to speak about the war waged by the hegemonic powers in the Middle East and the system they formed in the region. The Middle East has natural riches and the hegemonic powers want to have its riches, “They caused chaos and showed themselves as a solution for this chaos. For this reason, the problems in the Middle East become a topic for the world to discuss.”

Evin Paşo pointed out that the aim of the Arab Spring uprisings in the Middle East was to ensure equality, justice, and freedom, but its aims and purpose were changed by many forces, “As it is known, there were many ongoing problems before the uprisings. One of those problems was that the Arab people were divided into 22 states and they wanted to have one nation. The Syrian crisis introduced the third world war.”

“Kurdish people are the cornerstone of the revolution”

Emphasizing that the Kurdish people are leading the revolution for freedom and democracy, Evin Paşo said, “The people who have a role and mission in Rojava or North and East Syria are the Kurdish people. The Autonomous Administration project, based on the idea of a Democratic Nation, is led by the Kurdish people and their commanders. The aim of the project is to eliminate inequality and pressures on identity against the Kurdish people in Syria, Iraq, Iran and Turkey. The Kurdish people don’t want other peoples to face what they have faced.”

“Autonomous Administration is a project for solution”

“The first effective project that will solve all problems and crises in the Middle East is Autonomous Administration project,” Evin Paşo said, “For this reason; there are ongoing political, military, and economic attacks on the project. But the hegemonic powers cannot affect the project because the people already embrace the project. The SDF forces fought against terrorism instead of the whole world and they succeeded in their fight. Despite that, the Autonomous Administration is still not politically recognized.”

“International powers should push the Damascus government to sit at the dialogue table”

Evin Paşo added that the Syrian crisis can only be solved through dialogue. “If international powers want to resolve the Syrian crisis, they should support the Autonomous Administration and push the Damascus government to sit at the dialogue table. The solution of the Kurdish question in four parts of Kurdistan will be achieved when the problems in the Middle East are resolved. The international powers should recognize the Autonomous Administration. This is not a demand, this is their duty.”
