HDP delegation meets with representatives of Die Linke party

Members of the HDP Women’s Council, including HDP MP Ayşe Acar Başaran, met with the representatives of the Left Party (Die Linke) in Germany.

News Center - A delegation consisting of the Peoples’ Democratic Party (HDP) MPs Ayşe Acar Başaran and Pero Dundar and the members of the HDP Women Council, went to Germany to hold a series of diplomatic talks.

The HDP delegation held meetings in Cologne and Düsseldorf with Kea Detmers, spokesperson of the Left Party in Düsseldorf, Berivan Aymaz, MP of the Green Party from North Rhine-Westphalia (NRW), and Michaele Gincel-Reinhardt, councilwoman for DIE LINKE in NRW.

The attacks on women's achievements, the Kobanî Trial, the closure case against the HDP, and the health condition of Aysel Tuğluk, who has been held in Kandıra Prison although she has suffered from dementia, were discussed at the meetings.
