Gaza- The dream of working young women is to start their own business. 33-year-old Dina Abu Shaaban is one of these women, who achieved her dream. She quitted her job to start her own business to sell gifts on the internet. Then, she opened her own gift store and now she exports gifts.

Her dream becomes her livelihood

The dream of Dina Abu Shaaban has become her livelihood now. She began to think of launching a project when her family members sent her money on the special days, “because I wanted to receive gifts instead of money.” After graduating from secondary school, she studied business. Then she worked for a company for several years.

“Women should learn everything about the market”

Dina Abu Shaaban has a Facebook page about the topics related to women, “I organized a competition on my Facebook page. A Lebanese woman won the competition. She asked me to send the gift to her friend living in Gaza whom she hasn’t seen for a long time. I sent the gift to her friend. The refugees from many countries such as Syria, Lebanon and Jordan got in contact with me to send gifts to their friends.” Dina Abu Shaaban wants to expand her team now. Addressing female employers, Dina Abu Shaaban advised them “to learn everything about the market well before starting their projects.”
