Theater Festival in Kobanî continues on its 3rd day

The Theater Festival organized in Kobanî in memory of Arin Mirkan continues on its third day. Today, the theater players of the Tabqa Culture and Art Center performed the theater play named “Çinîna dujehê”.

The Theater Festival organized in Kobanî in memory of Arin Mirkan continues on its third day. Today, the theater players of the Tabqa Culture and Art Center performed the theater play named “Çinîna dujehê”.

Kobanî- Euphrates Region Cultural Committee and Mesopotamia Democratic Culture and Art Movement has held an theater festival named “Arin Bisk and Zulfên Aşîtiyê” in Kobanî in memory of Arin Mirkan, a commander in the Women's Protection Units (YPJ), who was killed fighting against ISIS. On the third day of the festival, the theater players of the Tabqa Culture and Art Center performed the theater play named “Çinîna dujehê”.

The festival has been held at the Baqî Xido Culture and Art Center. The theater players of the Tabqa Culture and Art Center performed the theater play telling the humanitarian crisis in Syria. “We are happy to have performed our play telling the ongoing chaos in Syria. We tried to explain the war, the crisis caused by the war and their effects on the society,” said Fatma Hesen, a member of the Tabqa Culture and Art Center.

Many theater groups will perform their theater plays in Aleppo, Shehba, Raqqa, Manbij, Tabqa and Kobanî within the scope of the festival which will last until November 27.
