Zahra Saeedianjoo receives death threats
Zahra Saeedianjoo, sister of murdered protester Milad Saeedianjoo, was threatened with death by motorcyclists.
News Center- The Islamic Republic of Iran continues to crackdown on the families of those who were killed in the nationwide protests that sparked following the killing of Jina Mahsa Amini by Iran’s so-called “morality police”.
Fatemeh Heidari, sister of murdered protester Javad Heidari, announced on her social media account on October 21 that Zahra Saeedianjoo, sister of Milad Saeedianjoo, had been threatened with death by motorcyclists.
“Zahra Saeedianjoo was fired from her job at Mofid Children's Hospital in Tehran after her release from prison. Today, she was threatened with death by some motorcyclists,” said her social media post. Fatemeh Heidari.
Zahra Saeedianjoo, who was not active on social media platforms for a while after her release, wrote on her Instagram account that she had been threatened. “I am Zahra Saeedianjoo, sister of Milad Saeedianjoo, I have no physical or mental problems, I am completely healthy and have no intention of committing suicide,” she wrote against the claims of the authorities saying that the protesters and supporters of the protests died due to physical, mental diseases or committed suicide. “Today, I am full of life more than ever,” her social media said.
Before the first anniversary of the killing of Jina Mahsa Amini and the “Jin, Jiyan, Azadi (Women, Life, Freedom” uprising, the members of victims’ families were arrested and threatened with death. Iranian security forces also prevented the commemoration ceremonies that the families wanted to hold for their loved ones.
