Women march in Tunisia to support Palestine

Women held a march in the city of Gafsa to be in solidarity with the Palestinian people and condemn the silence of the international community against Israel’s attacks on Gaza.

Tunisia- On December 13, women held a march in the city of Gafas, Tunisia, to be in solidarity with the Palestinian people and condemn the silence of the international community against Israel’s attacks on Gaza. The women called for a boycott of all Israeli products.

‘We will continue to support Palestinian women’

 Activist and journalist Samira Souri told NuJINHA that she participated in the march to support Palestinian women, who have been subjected to all forms of violence. “This march is a humanitarian message condemning rights violations committed by Israel against Palestinians. We will continue to support Palestinian women until they take back their rights.”

‘I condemn the silence’

Najat Mubarak, an activist and teacher in the city of Gafsa, participated in the march to condemn the ongoing silence against Israel’s attacks on Gaza. She said, “I condemn the silence of the Arab community and the international community against Israel's attacks on Gaza. The Palestinian women have the right to live with dignity. As Tunisian women, we will always be in solidarity with Palestinian women.”
