News Center- Journalists Semra Pelek and Dicle Baştürk were detained in dawn house raids conducted on Friday as part of an investigation launched in Artvin, a city in northeastern Türkiye.

Journalist Semra Pelek was detained in a dawn house raid conducted by Turkish police in Istanbul. After a search that lasted approximately an hour, Semra Pelek was taken to Maslak Gendarmerie Command.

The reason for the detention is still unknown.
