News Center- Sepideh Keshavarz and Mahosh Adalati Aliabadi, two Baha'i citizens, who have been serving their one-year prison sentence in Evin prison, went on a hunger strike on Sunday, December 10, to protest the rights violations against political prisoners and be in solidarity with jailed two jailed members of the Baha'i minority, Mahvash Sabet and Fariba Kamalabadi, who have been on hunger strike for six  days, and Narges Mohammadi, who announced that she went on a hunger strike on December 9.

Sepideh Keshavarz and Mahosh Adalati Aliabadi, two Baha'i citizens who reside in Tehran, were detained on July 3, 2023. They were each sentenced to one year in prison by Branch 54 of the Court of Appeal of Tehran Province in March 2023 on charges of “propaganda activity against the system” and “Association and collusion to commit crime against the state." They were then sent to Evin prison to serve their one-year prison sentence.
