Turkish army shells border villages in NE Syria
The Internal Security Forces in North and East Syria have announced that the Turkish army has been shelling several villages along the border from Zirgan district until the countryside of Qamishlo since this morning.
News Center- The Turkish army has been intensifying its attacks in North and East Syria. The Internal Security forces have issued a statement today and announced that the Turkish army has been shelling several villages along the border from Zirgan district to the countryside of Qamishlo since this morning.
“The invading Turkish army shelled several villages along the border this morning. The shelled villages are: Til Zîwan village in Qamishlo`s countryside (2 mortal shells), Xanîka village in Amude`s countryside (3 artillery shells), Zirgan town (3 artillery shells), Çetelê village in Dirbesiye countryside (3 artillery shells),” the statement said.
According to the received reports, a base station was destroyed in the shelling on Zirgan and the Turkish army also shelled Xerbî neighborhood of Zirgan. The journalists working in the region reported that Çeteliyê village in the west of Dirbesiyê district of Hasakah Canton and Çeteliyê village in Amude district of Qamishlo Canton were also shelled. Keramê, Cirnikê and Xanîka villages of the Topo town, west of Amude, were also shelled. The reports also say that Gir Top village, east of Qamishlo, Gozeli and Til Leben villages, west of Tall Tamer, were also shelled in the morning by the Turkish army.
