The North and East Syria Women's Committee Met with Academics in Germany
The North and East Syria Women's Committee met with German, Iranian, and Kurdish academics, as well as women's rights organizations.

News Center – The North and East Syria Women's Committee continues its visits in Germany as part of its European contacts. In the meetings, developments in Syria, particularly the situation in North and East Syria, women's issues, and the education process in the region were discussed.
While addressing the situation of the three universities in the region, the women's committee emphasized the importance of strengthening academic relations with German universities. They also met with Germany’s largest women's rights organization, Terre des Femmes (TDF), to assess the situation of women in Syria.
Since September 6, the delegation has been conducting visits in Europe. The delegation includes Emine Omer, Chair of the North and East Syria Women’s Council; Muna El Yûsif, Spokesperson of the Syria Women’s Council; Şehrezad El Casim, Spokesperson of the Zenûbiya Women’s Community; Jiyan Hisên, Coordination Member of Kongra Star; and Corcêt Bersum, Chair of the Syriac Women’s Union.
