News Center – Political prisoner and Saveh University student Maryam Darisi was released the other day from Adel-Abad Prison in Shiraz.

In 2023, the 102nd Branch of the Kazerun Revolutionary Court sentenced Maryam Darisi to one year in prison while under electronic surveillance on charges of “propaganda against the regime by publishing content on a digital media page supporting Zeynab Jalalian and several other political prisoners” and “publishing optional content images.”

In 2024, another arrest warrant was issued against Maryam Darisi. She had been imprisoned in Adel-Abad Prison.
