TAJÊ visits NGOs and political parties in Sulaymaniyah

The Yazidi Free Women's Movement (Kurdish: Tevgera Azadiya Jinên Êzîdî-TAJÊ) visited NGOs, women’s organizations and political parties in Sulaymaniyah to mark the anniversary of genocide committed against the Yazidi community by ISIS.

Shengal (Sinjar)- The Yazidi Free Women's Movement (Kurdish: Tevgera Azadiya Jinên Êzîdî-TAJÊ) visited NGOs, women’s organizations and political parties in Sulaymaniyah to mark the anniversary of genocide committed against the Yazidi community by ISIS.

During the visits, the situation of Yazidi women, the Yazidi women held captive by ISIS, the recognition of the genocide by all countries and the prosecution of ISIS members were discussed.

‘The genocide must be officially recognized’

The representatives of NGOs, women’s organizations and political parties expressed their solidarity with Yazidi women and said that the pain of Yazidi women is also their pain. During the visits, the TAJÊ emphasized that the crimes committed against the Yazidi community by ISIS must be globally recognized as a genocide.
