TAJÊ participates in ‘I want to visit Abdullah Öcalan’ campaign
The Yazidi Free Women’s Movement (TAJÊ) announced on Wednesday its participation in the “I want to visit Abdullah Öcalan” campaign.

News Center-The Yazidi Free Women's Movement (Kurdish: Tevgera Azadiya Jinên Êzîdî-TAJÊ) issued a press statement on Wednesday, stating that the movement’s participation in the “I want to visit Abdullah Öcalan” campaign.
“The physical freedom of Kurdish leader Abdullah Öcalan is the freedom of Yazidi women,” said Riham Hico, Spokesperson of the movement, vowing to break the isolation imposed on Abdullah Öcalan. “The TAJÊ launched a campaign read and discuss books by Abdullah Öcalan. The campaign aims to spread the thoughts and ideas of leader Öcalan. As Yazidi women, our demand is to break the isolation imposed on leader Apo and to achieve his freedom.”
‘We will strengthen our struggle’
“As young women, we must strengthen our struggle for freedom of leader Apo,” said Avesta Ezda, member of the Shengal Young Women's Union. The freedom of leader Apo is the freedom of women. Therefore, we must struggle to ensure the physical freedom of leader Apo.”
