Sit-in protest of Şenyaşar family enters its 625th day

“This is a persecution. Those who remain silent against this persecution are the dumb devil,” the Şenyaşar family posted on the 625th day of their sit-in protest for justice.

Riha - The sit-in protest held in front of the Urfa Courthouse by Emine Şenyaşar, whose husband and two sons were murdered in the attack carried out by the relatives and bodyguards of AKP Urfa MP İbrahim Halil Yıldız in the Suruç district of Urfa province on June 14, 2018, and her son Ferit Şenyaşar has entered its 625th day.

Emine Şenyaşar and her son Ferit Şenyaşar came in front of the courthouse in the morning to hold their sit-in protest and to demand justice again.

“Those who ignore this struggle for justice in front of the courthouse will get the necessary response at the ballot box.  This is a persecution. ‘Those who remain silent against this persecution are the dumb devil’. There is a person who committed a crime against humanity, in the Turkish parliament,” the Şenyaşar family posted today on their social media account.
