Riha - The sit-in protest held in front of the Urfa Courthouse by Emine Şenyaşar, whose husband and two sons were murdered in the attack carried out by the relatives and bodyguards of AKP Urfa MP İbrahim Halil Yıldız in the Suruç district of Urfa province on June 14, 2018, and her son Ferit Şenyaşar has entered its 557th day.

In the morning, Emine Şenyaşar and her son Ferit Şenyaşar came in front of the courthouse to demand justice by unfurling a banner reading, “Justice for the Şenyaşar family, justice for everyone”.

“I will never forgive them”

Today, Emine Şenyaşar made a speech on the insult trial and investigations launched against her. “They still persecute us. We have been subjected to persecution many times until now. One of my son is kept in prison, while two of my sons were murdered at the hospital. Legal actions are started against us, not the killers of my children. I am asked why we insult them. My children were murdered at the hospital. Doesn't Erdoğan know that? He also has children. They should release my son from prison so that I can go home. I hope those who persecute us face the same persecution. I will never forgive them.”
