Sit-in protest of Şenyaşar family continues on its 547th day
The Şenyaşar family has held a sit-in protest in front of the Urfa Courthouse to demand justice for their murdered relatives for 547 days.
Riha - The sit-in protest held in front of the Urfa Courthouse by Emine Şenyaşar, whose husband and two sons were murdered in the attack carried out by the relatives and bodyguards of AKP Urfa MP İbrahim Halil Yıldız in the Suruç district of Urfa province on June 14, 2018, and her son Ferit Şenyaşar has entered its 547th day.
In the morning, Emine Şenyaşar and her son Ferit Şenyaşar came in front of the courthouse from their home in Suruç to demand justice for their murdered relatives again.
“Everyone is a party to this persecution”
“There is a mother demanding justice for 547 days under the sign reading justice. Anyone, who sits in their seats and gets a salary with our taxes and does not do what is necessary, is a party to this persecution,” the Şenyaşar family wrote on their social media account by tagging the official account of Turkish Justice Minister Bekir Bozdağ.
