Sit-in protest for justice enters its 385th day

Emine Şenyaşar and her son Ferit Şenyaşar has demanded justice for their killed relatives in front of the Urfa Courthouse for 385 days.

Riha - The sit-in protest started in front of the Urfa Courthouse by Emine Şenyaşar, whose husband and two sons were killed in the attack carried out on June 14, 2018, in Suruç by the relatives and bodyguards of AKP Urfa MP İbrahim Halil Yıldız, and her son Ferit Şenyaşar, who survived the attack, continues on its 385th day.

Today, Emine Şenyalar demands justice from her home in the Suruç district of Urfa province due to her health problems, while her son Ferit Şenyaşar holds the sit-in protest in front of the Urfa Courthouse.

“Despite the cold winter weather, we didn’t give up demanding justice. The second summer is coming. Do not delay your humanitarian and legal demands any longer! Justice is sought,” the Şenyaşar family posted on their social media account today.
