Sit-in protest for justice enters its 347th day
The Şenyaşar family has held a sit-in protest in front of the Urfa Courthouse demanding justice for their killed relatives for 347 days. “If there is no justice, there will be no trust, peace, economic stability!” the family posted today.
Riha- The sit-in protest held in front of the Urfa Courthouse by Emine Şenyaşar, whose husband and two sons were killed in the attack carried out on June 14, 2018, in Suruç by the relatives and bodyguards of AKP Urfa MP İbrahim Halil Yıldız, and her son Ferit Şenyaşar, who survived the attack, has entered its 347th day.
Emine Şenyaşar hasn’t been able to come in front of the courthouse for two days due to her health problems. In the morning, her son Ferit Şenyaşar came in front of the courthouse to demand justice again.
“If there is no justice, there will be no trust, peace, economic stability! This banner will remain in front of the Şanlıurfa Courthouse until justice is delivered. #SusmaKorkmaAlışma (Don’t remain silent, be afraid, get used to)” the Şenyaşar family posted on their social media account today.
