Palestinian journalist Haneen al-Qashtan killed in Israeli airstrike

Palestinian journalist Haneen al-Qashtan was killed in an Israeli airstrike at the Nuseirat refugee camp in the Gaza Strip on December 17.

News Center- Gaza’s Media Office announced on Monday that Palestinian journalist Haneen al-Qashtan, who worked for Sawt Al Watan Radio, was killed along with her family members in an Israeli airstrike at the Nuseirat refugee camp on December 17.

The total number of killed journalists and media workers since October 7 has reached 95, according to the office.

The media office said, “The occupation deliberately kills journalists with the aim of distorting the Palestinian narrative, trying to obscure the truth, and obstructing the delivery of news and information to regional and global public opinion.”

According to the Coalition For Women In Journalism, at least twelve Palestinian women journalists have now been killed, out of a total of fifteen women journalists, since the conflict escalated on October 7.
