News Center- Nusrat Beheshti, a detained activist and retired teacher, started a hunger strike to protest the bad conditions in the Iranian prison. On the fifth day of her hunger strike, she reportedly felt bad and was hospitalized. She had to end her hunger strike due to health problems.
Nusrat Beheshti, one of the 15 activists who signed an open letter calling Ali Khamenei to resign his post of Supreme Leader, is the mother of six. She has been held in the Central Prison in Vakilabad for three months.
