New Center- The Martyr Gulistan TARA Documentary Commune has been established, the commune announced Monday in a statement on social media platforms, saying that “Kurdish Resurrection”, a 90-episode documentary series telling the history of the PKK, will be screened soon.

The search for truth within the free press tradition of the Kurdish Freedom Movement from Mazlum Doğan to Gurbetelli, from Apê Musa (Musa Anter) to Halil Dağ, from Nazım to Cihan, from Kemal to Agit and Gülistan continues, the statement emphasized. “Since we are in the communication age, the need for documenting the truth, making experiences eternal, and writing accurate history has emerged.”

According to the statement, the commune organizing itself in four parts of Kurdistan and abroad aims to bring all documents under the same roof and archive them.

“Our commune sees itself responsible for revealing all distorted and suppressed truths in order to rebuild a free, democratic, ecological society based on women’s freedom.
