What has happened?
On December 5,2023, Sharifeh Mohammadi was arrested from her home in Rasht by agents of the IRGC's intelligence. On July 4, 2024, On July 4, 2024, she was sentenced to death by the Revolutionary Court in Rasht on charges of “armed rebellion against the state”. On October 12, 2024, the Supreme Court overturned her death sentences. However, a Revolutionary Court in Rasht sentenced her to death again on February 13, 2025.
