Mahsa Yazdani arrested in Iran for seeking justice for her killed son

Mahsa Yazdani, mother of Mohammad Javad Zahedi who was killed by Iran’s security forces on September 21, 2022, has been arrested in Iran for seeking justice for her son.

News Center- The Iranian regime keep suing all inhuman practice, including execution, torture, killing and arrest, to quell the protests that sparked in Iran and Rojhilat following the killing of Jina Mahsa Amini on September 16, 2022.

Mohammad Javad Zahedi was shot to death by Iranian security forces during the protests on September 21, 2022. His mother Mahsa Yazdani has been reportedly arrested in the Sari city of Iran’s Mazandaran province and taken to an unknown location by Iranian security forces.

 

Since the 1960s, the Islamic Republic of Iran has oppressed the families of executed political prisoners and killed protesters. Recently, the Iranian regime has increased harassment and intimidation against victims’ families. As the anniversary of the killing of Jina Mahsa Amini is approaching, the Iranian regime has been arresting victims’ families seeking justice for their children and destroying victims’ gravestones.
