News Center- Kongra Star has issued a written statement on the Turkish attacks on North and East Syria. Condemning the Turkish attacks targeting civilian infrastructure in North and East Syria, Kongra Star demanded the air space of the region be closed to the Turkish warplanes.

“The occupying Turkish state carried out terrorist attacks against the people of North and East Syria. The aim of the attacks is to destabilize the region, revive ISIS and depopulate the region,” read the statement.

 ‘We will not surrender’

The occupying Turkish state targets the gains of the women’s revolution and the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria (AANES), the statement said. “We strongly condemn the threats of the Turkish state and its ongoing attacks. As an active organization in the region, we will defend the gains of the women’s revolution and we will not surrender. The silence of the international organizations encourages the Turkish state. The Turkish state keeps committing war crimes due to this silence.”

 ‘Close the air space’

In the statement, Kongra Star called on all women’s organizations and human rights organizations against capitalism, fascism and colonialism to “support the women’s revolution in North and East Syria and participate in the demonstrations and protests demanding the end of the Turkish attacks.
