News Center- Pervin Buldan, a member of the Imrali delegation of the Peoples’ Equality and Democracy Party (DEM Party) visited women politicians imprisoned in Kandıra and Gebze prisons on Wednesday.
Pervin Buldan reportedly gave information about the delegation’s meeting with Kurdish leader Abdullah Öcalan in the prison island of Imrali on January 22, 2025.
Pervin Buldan first visited Figen Yüksekdağ, former Co-chair of the Peoples’ Democratic Party (HDP) imprisoned in the Kandıra Women’s Closed Prison, conveying Abdullah Öcalan's greetings and message to her. “We consider the process initiated by Mr. Öcalan as very valuable,” said Figen Yüksekdağ, expressing her support for the process. “This process will be a new phase of our struggle for labor and freedom. We will stand by it with all our sincerity.”
