News Center- Imrali delegation of the Peoples’ Equality and Democracy Party (DEM Party) visited Southern Kurdistan to hold meetings with political representatives after visiting Kurdish leader Abdullah Öcalan in the prison island of Imrali twice.

The meeting between the delegation and Nechirvan Barzani, the president of the Kurdistan Region, has started in Erbil.

On Saturday, Pervin Buldan and Sırrı Süreyya Önder, members of the Imrali delegation, Democratic Regions Party (DBP) Co-chair Keskin Bayındır, Co-chair of the Democratic Regions Party (BDP), Özgür Erol and Ibrahim Bilmez, lawyers from the Asrın Law Office, Berdan Öztürk, Co-spokesperson of the DEM Party Foreign Affairs Commission and DEM Party MPs Gülcan Kaçmaz Sayyiğit and Mehmet Kamaç arrived in Erbil to hold meetings with political representatives of Southern Kurdistan.

The delegation held its first meeting in Erbil with Masoud Barzani, leader of the Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP), on Sunday and conveyed the message of Abdullah Öcalan to Masoud Barzani.
