News Center- People’s Equality and Democracy Party (HEDEP) Youth Assembly Spokesperson Edanur İbrahimoğlu was subjected to police violence during the press release in Istanbul yesterday. She announced that she had been attacked by police officers while being taken into custody.

‘Torture cannot intimidate us’

The HEDEP released a statement on its social media account about the police violence against Edanur İbrahimoğlu. “Torture cannot intimidate us. The attacks on our party and our party’s Youth Assembly prove that they are afraid of us. You will be held accountable sooner or later for torture, which is a crime against humanity,” said the statement.
