Fire breaks out in Harsham Camp hosting 150 Yazidi families
Six houses have been destroyed in a fire that broke out inside Harsham Camp located in the Kurdistan Region’s Erbil province. No statement has been released yet about the fire inside the camp hosting 150 Yazidi families.
News Center- On August 3, 2014, ISIS attacked Shengal, killed many Yazidis and sold Yazidi women in slave markets. Thousands of Yazidi had to leave their homeland to many countries or camps located in the Kurdistan Region. The Yazidis living in these camps have to live without protection.
Local sources reported that a fire broke out inside Harsham Camp located in the Kurdistan Region’s Erbil province in the morning. Six houses have been reportedly destroyed in the fire that broke out inside the camp hosting 150 Yazidi families. The reason for the fire is still unknown.
