Families of prisoners: We are left alone
“We have shouted our demands for 10 months but there has been no response to our demands. Everyone, particularly political parties, have left us alone,” said the families of prisoners, who have held the Justice Watch for 10 months.
News Center-The Justice Watch started by the families of prisoners demanding the release of sick prisoners and the prisoners, who are not released despite having completed their sentences, continues. Today, the families gathered in front of the Council of Forensic Medicine (ATK) in Diyarbakır to issue a press statement with the participation of the members of the Med Federation of Associations for Legal Aid and Solidarity with Families of Arrestees and Convicts (MED TUHAD-FED), Association for Solidarity with Families of Arrestees (TUAY-DER) and Diyarbakır Association of 78's.

One of the relatives of prisoners, Herdem Mervani made a speech and said that they have held their Justice Watch for months; however, no one has paid attention to their demands. “We have shouted our demands for 10 months but there has been no response to our demands. Everyone, particularly political parties, have left us alone. Yes, we are tired, but this does not mean that we will not express our demands. Our only demand is the release of sick prisoners. Everyone knows that our demand is the right demand. The right to life is sacred.”
