Emine Şenyaşar seeks justice for 623 days

Emine Şenyaşar, whose husband and two sons were killed, has been seeking justice in front of the Urfa Courthouse for 623 days.

Riha - The sit-in protest held in front of the Urfa Courthouse by Emine Şenyaşar, whose husband and two sons were murdered in the attack carried out by the relatives and bodyguards of AKP Urfa MP İbrahim Halil Yıldız in the Suruç district of Urfa province on June 14, 2018, and her son Ferit Şenyaşar has entered its 623rd day.

Emine Şenyaşar and her son Ferit Şenyaşar came in front of the courthouse in the morning to hold their sit-in protest for justice. “The mother’s sit-in protest for justice continues on its 623rd day in the city where the Prophets and the people of Nimrod lived. Those who declared themselves as gods in history were defeated by a mosquito,” the Şenyaşar family posted today on their social media account by tagging the official accounts of Turkey’s Ministry of Justice and Urfa Governor’s Office.
