Earthquake death toll in Turkey rises to 50,500
The earthquake death toll in Turkey has risen to 50,500, Turkish authorities say.
News Center- The death toll of the February 6 earthquakes that affected 11 cities in Turkey keeps rising.
Turkey’s Interior Minister Süleyman Soylu held a press conference, announcing that the death toll has risen to 50,500 and that 1020 out of 50,500 people have not been identified yet. Süleyman Soylu also said that the debris of 40,969 of 57,029 collapsed buildings has been removed so far.
