News Center- The Yazidi Free Women's Movement (Kurdish: Tevgera Azadiya Jinên Êzîdî-TAJÊ) has issued a written statement about the “Operation Revenge” launched by the YBŞ and YJŞ against the agent network under the control of the Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP) and the National Intelligence Organization (MIT) in Shengal. “Many KDP and MIT agents have been arrested since the operation was launched. These agents confessed that they took part in the recent attacks against our people, our leaders and our organizations. One of these attacks is the attacks on the People's Assemblies of Xanasor and Sinunê,” the statement said.

 The statement added, “Throughout history, Yazidi people have been known for their faith, ethics and unity. Yazidis never betray their people and do not harm those around them. For this reason, these agents among our people are against Yazidism. We do not see the Yazidis who spy against their community as Yazidis. Those who help their enemies targeting their leaders have no place in Shengal.”

 ‘They targeted the leaders of our people’

Pointing out the traps set by the MIT and KDP to deceive Yazidi young people, the statement said, “We have always warned Yazidi young people not to be deceived. In this process, we understand how our warnings were right. The Turkish state and the KDP make plans and carry out methods against the Yazidi people by using all their means. Since they could not annihilate us during the genocide, they now use immoral methods to target the leaders of our people. The victims of these attacks are the Yazidi people. Therefore, mothers should warn their children and protect them against the KDP and MIT agents.”

‘Everyone should be careful’

 Pointing out that the MIT and KDP could not attack Shengal without any support, the statement said, “They cannot attack without the support of traitors and those who sell their honor. Everyone should know this truth. Therefore, everyone should be careful. Everyone should support the Revenge Operation launched by the YBŞ and YJŞ to fail plans on Yazidis to ensure stability and security in Shengal.”
