231 Yazidis return to Shengal
The Iraqi Ministry of Displacement and Migration has announced that 231 Yazidis, who stayed in the Bersiveh camp located in Zakho, have returned to Shengal.
News Center- Iraqi Minister of Displacement and Migration, Ivan Fayek has announced that 231 Yazidis, totally 39 families, who stayed in the Bersiveh camp located in Zakho, have returned to Shengal (Sinjar).
Ivan Fayek stated that the Yazidis returned to Shengal after the ministry took all logistical and security measures with cooperation of the Joint Crisis Coordination Centre (JCC) of the Kurdistan Regional Government and the International Organization for Migration (IOM).
In addition, the Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP) forces do not allow the displaced people, who left the IDPs camps in Erbil and Duhok to return to their homeland.
