Journalist Rojin Altay released
An employee of Yeni Yaşam newspaper, journalist Rojin Altay, who was taken into custody in Istanbul, has been released after testimony processes at the prosecution office.
Istanbul- Journalist Rojin Altay, an employee of Yeni Yaşam newspaper, was taken into custody at Sabiha Gökçen Airport on January 28 as part of an investigation launched by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office. Being held in custody for four days at the Istanbul Security Directorate in Vatan Street, she was taken to the Istanbul Courthouse. Being accused of “being a member of a (terrorist) organization, Rojin Altay has been released under judicial control after the testimony processes at the prosecution office.
During the questioning at the police station, journalist Rojin Altay was asked about the protests, press conferences, marches and meetings that she had covered.
