108th day of Israel's war on Gaza

The ongoing Israel’s war has almost completely destroyed the Gaza Strip, displacing more than 80% of Gaza’s population and killing more than 25,000 Palestinians, including women and children.

News Center- Since October 7, Israel’s war has almost completely destroyed the Gaza Strip, displacing more than 80% of Gaza’s population, killing more than 25,000 Palestinians, including children and women, injuring at least 62,681.

Israel has imposed a near-total siege on Gaza, banning the entry of all supplies including food, water, medicine and fuel. Negotiations for the release of hostages and prisoners are still ongoing; however, there are no solutions to end the war; Israel rejects Hamas’ call for the release of captives that would end the war.

According to the reports, American, British and European officials have been pressuring Israel to let aid for Gaza transit through the Israeli port of Ashdod to help alleviate a metastasizing humanitarian crisis.

The Israeli military operations, which took place in the refugee camps of Nur Shams and Tulkarm (both in Tulkarm) on 17 and 18 January, resulted in damage to homes and infrastructure, in addition to the fatalities and injuries already recorded. At least 21 homes were rendered uninhabitable due to explosions and bulldozing, displacing 137 people, including 46 children, according to the report released by the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs on January 21, 2024.

Displaced Palestinians across the West Bank

“Since 7 October 2023 and as of 21 January 2024, 739 Palestinians, including 309 children, have been displaced, following the destruction of 115 homes during other operations carried out by Israeli forces across the West Bank. About 95 per cent of the displacement was reported in the refugee camps of Jenin, Nur Shams and Tulkarm,” the report said.
