On March 29, 2,000 women were denied entry to the football stadium despite having bought tickets. The security told them that they are not allowed.
Iranian women have been barred from stadiums for about 40 years. According to the reports, the International Federation of Association Football (FIFA) may ban Iran from international competitions if the ban on women continues.
