News Center- Branch 29 of the Tehran Revolutionary Court has sentenced six Baha’i citizens to a total of 32 years and 10 months in prison.

According to the local reports, the court has sentenced Arsalan Yazdani, Saeedaeh Khozouei, Iraj Shakur and Pedram Abhar to five years in prison on charges of “membership in groups opposed to the Islamic Republic” and one year on charges of “propaganda against the regime”.

The court has sentenced Samira Ebrahimi and Saba Sefidi to three years and five months in prison on charges of “membership in groups opposed the Islamic Republic of Iran” and one year in prison on charges of “propaganda against the system” and “promoting the Baha'i faith”.

The local sources said that six Baha’i citizens were denied access to lawyers and were subjected to unfair and discriminatory treatment during the three-month trial.
