Killer of Emine Karakaş arrested: He shot her 25 times to scare her!

Amed – On February 4, Aslan Karakaş (34) shot and seriously wounded 16-year-old Emine Karakaş, who refused to marry him, in the Bismil district of Diyarbakır province. Emine Karakaş lost her life on June 21 after being held in the intensive care unit of Diyarbakır Dicle Hospital for months.

Aslan Karakaş surrendered to police

According to the reports received from Emine Karakaş’s family members and lawyers, Aslan Karakaş surrendered to police two days ago. The perpetrator reportedly hid in Mardin province for more than five months. The lawyers of Emine Karakaş’s family reported that Aslan Karakaş claimed in his testimony that he fired at the car 25 times to scare Emine Karakaş. Aslan Karakaç was sent to prison by a court.

“No punishment can erase our pain”

We spoke to Emine Karakaş’s mother Nurcan Karakaş and she told us, “This is not justice. He killed one of my parts. He should be punished in the most severe way. Everyone should do something to ensure this. My daughter was killed. No punishment can erase our pain but he should be punished for killing my daughter.”
