Eman Ebrahim is a Yemeni singer. She is going to return to her musical life with her new album “Tell me what you want” after being away from music for years. In the 80s, she was popular in Yemen and around the world with her songs. She was born in Adel city of Yemen and she went to Damascus, the capital of Syria, to study sociology at university. “I grew up in a political and social environment,” says Eman Ebrahim to explain her music. In her songs, she sings about love, friendship, war, and its effects on women. Her song, “The Sun is going down” is one of her old songs and loved by people in Yemen. The song is about war and poverty.
