Women to come together on June 19 in Istanbul for Istanbul Convention
Women's Platform for Equality (Eşitlik İçin Kadın Platformu-EŞİK) issued a joint statement signed by 88 women’s organizations in Turkey against Turkey’s withdrawal from the Istanbul Convention. Women will come together in Istanbul to join the “Women’s Demonstration” on June 19.

News Center- Women's Platform for Equality (Eşitlik İçin Kadın Platformu-EŞİK) has announced that women will hold a women’s demonstration in Istanbul on June 19 against Turkey’s withdrawal from the Istanbul Convention, which will expire in Turkey on July 1, 2021.
“Those who want to destroy the Istanbul Convention also want to destroy our struggle against inequality, violence, femicides, harassment, child abuse, discrimination, hate language, hostility, and war policies.”
Call on all women
“We will come together in Istanbul on June 19, 2021 to announce that we will not give up on the Istanbul Convention. “ The platform calls on all women to join the demonstration.”
