The number of suspicious deaths of women has been increasing every day in Turkey.  It is revealed that Tuğçe Mutlu, whose death reported as suspicious, was killed. 

News Center- At least 25 women were reported in the press as suspicious in May 2021. Tuğçe Mutlu, who lived in Ankara, was one of these women. Her death was reported as suspicious. But it is revealed that Tuğçe was a murder victim. 

On May 30, the residents of a building located in the Altındağ district of Ankara called police due to a strong odor coming from Tuğçe Mutlu's flat. Police found the dead body of Tuğçe Mutlu when they entered her flat. Tuğçe Mutlu was reportedly shot in the head twice. An investigation was opened into the death of the woman. 

Police focused on the possibility that Tuğçe was killed after they couldn’t find Tuğçe Mutlu’s flatmate Songül S. and the gun. Police learned that the last person entered Tuğçe Mutlu’s flat was Oğuzhan Karakaya. Oğuzhan Karakaya was the boyfriend of Songül S. Police followed the suspect and detained him in his house located in Keçiören. Karakaya admitted to killing Tuğçe Mutlu.

Songül S. was also detained for allegedly instigating the murder. Two persons have been sent to prison.
