Sit-in protest enters its 305th day
The Şenyaşar family has demanded justice for their killed relatives for 305 days. “Our struggle is a historical test for Turkey's justice,” the family says.
Riha- The sit-in protest held by Emine Şenyaşar, whose husband and two sons were killed in the attack carried out on June 14, 2018, in Suruç by the relatives and bodyguards of AKP Urfa MP İbrahim Halil Yıldız, and her son Ferit Şenyaşar has entered its 305th day today.
“Justice protects the weak against the strong and the poor against the rich. A mother continues to shed tears because there are timid prosecutors, who don’t dare to call the strong to account. Our struggle is a historical test for Turkey’s justice,” the Şenyaşar family tweeted today.
