Tunisian tennis player Ons Jabeur launched a social media campaign under the hashtag “#ServeForGaza” on Thursday, calling on the tennis world and everyone to mobilize for Palestinian children.

News Center- The severe food insecurity and hunger crisis in the Gaza Strip have been exacerbating due to the ongoing Israel’s blockade on humanitarian aid.

Tunisian tennis player Ons Jabeur launched a social media campaign under the hashtag, “#ServeForGaza” on Thursday, calling on the world of sport and everyone to mobilize for Palestinian children.

In a post on Instagram, she called on the tennis world and “everyone beyond it” to raise donations and put pressure for humanitarian aid to reach “those who need it most.”

“I’ve watched the videos. I’ve felt the heartbreak,” she said in the post. “Children in Gaza are starving. Families are suffering. Entire communities are being torn apart not by nature, but by a lack of humanity. I refuse to look away. That’s why I’m launching #ServeForGaza, a campaign to rally the tennis world and everyone beyond it, to raise donations and put pressure for humanitarian aid to reach those who need it most.”

Reminding how they fight hard on the court, she said, “But now, it’s time to fight for something greater: For mothers who can’t feed their kids. For children who deserve to live.”

She also called on everyone to help, donate, share, speak up and use “your voice”, “your serve” and “your heart”.

“Let’s show the world that sport can be a force for good. Let’s serve for them. Let’s serve for Gaza.”

The tennis player also shared the link of the World Food Program (WFP), calling on everyone to donate to “Serve for Gaza”.
