Şırnak- Kumri Öner, a member of the Peace Mothers Initiative, died in the Hezex (İdil) district of Şırnak on Friday morning at the age of 64. She was buried at the Şex Hesen Cemetery in the afternoon.

 Kumri Öner spent her life struggling for peace. She played an active role in many non-governmental organizations and associations as well as political parties.
